My wife has Dementia and she would ask me every couple of minutes, what day is it, what time is it, what is the date, or the year,or is it morning or evening and it was driving me crazy, (not her fault) but I needed something to stop this. We've been married for 50 years and we get along and Love each other dearly, but this constant asking was making things really crazy. (not her fault) and this clock stopped all the asking. I bought this for my 97 year old mother and she loves it. She had a hard time remembering what day and date it was. The brightness of the light does not bother her. She uses it as a night light when she has to use the bathroom at night. The screen is large enough for her to read and the information stays on all the time. Love it, love it, love it.
